Are you excited about what God is doing in your life? Do you feel the excitement of the transformation happening to you, your family, and your circumstances? The fastest way to see the revelation and transformation reach manifestation is through deepening your relationship with Jesus.

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that bears no fruit, He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean through the word which I have spoken to you. Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, neither can you, unless you remain in Me.

John 15:1-4

How much time have you been spending abiding with Jesus? I am not talking about intercession for the nations or whatever cause He has laid on your heart but just spending time in God’s Presence.

Is your relationship with Jesus the greatest priority of your life – even greater than trying to reach a ‘destiny’ He has for you?

There was a season when I would just spend hours laying on my floor with worship music on repeat (remember CDs) just enjoying the presence of God without much agenda or purpose outside of knowing Him.

As life became more hectic and complicated – husband, kids, business, ministry – I found that more of my time was spent seeking God for answers to issues or praying for church members or trying to find more things to do for Him that I stopped just spending time enjoying His presence. Sure, I would know when the Presence of God was strong in a place, and it wasn’t like He disappeared, but I didn’t make my relationship with Him my priority – I made all the things I was doing for Him my priority.

The biggest thing God wants from you is greater personal intimacy with Him.

But I have something against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

Revelation 2:4

You don’t have to live based on a Moses model where you only hear from God through a minister behind a pulpit – Christ died so you could come boldly before the throne of grace yourself.

Growing in a relationship with God doesn’t have to be complicated or all time-consuming, start small.

Step 1. Write the following on a post-it note and stick on your bathroom mirror: ‘God make me more hungry for you’. Pray it every time you see it.

Step 2. Give God 10 minutes a day (timer and all). First 3 minutes – pray God would make you hungry and desire more of a relationship with Him. Next 4 minutes read the Psalm or Proverb of the day (today is the 9th so read the 9th Psalm or Proverb. Last 3 minutes just sit quietly so He can speak to you.

Step 3. God will grow it because His greatest desire is more of you.

As you move into the new thing God has for you in this season – don’t lose sight of your relationship with Jesus!
